Support the People of Cuba

In keeping with our mission statement, Cuba Up Close strives to support the Cuban people in many ways. 

Not only do we employ the best local guides, interpreters and experts on a variety of subjects, we exclusively use private  accommodations and restaurants. Another very important way we directly support the Cuban people is to distribute “Share Bags” when the opportunity arises.  “Share Bags” consist of a variety of essential personal products, such as soap, OTC medicines, vitamins, school supplies, first aid supplies, etc, which can be difficult to acquire in Cuba. We personally distribute the Share Bags during our tours to folks we meet along our journey. A small portion (1%)  of your trip cost goes to creating approximately three “Share Bags”.
